History:
- EKATE Electronics has been founded by Eng. Mohamad Katrangi, where at that time, our activity was focused mainly on supplying electronic components, test equipment, and communication goods.
- EKATE became registered under a new trading name EKT (Katrangi Bros) managed by Katrangi’s successors.
- Manufacturing small electronic boards related to chargers and UPS.
- Relocating to a bigger showroom in Corniche Mazraa St., Beirut - Lebanon
- Founding of Mobile Department for selling mobile-related products and solutions
- Growing of a new Production line, producing wider collection, of AVR, UPS Boards, Remote Control, Charger boards, Backup system, and Educational Kit’s.
- Founding of System Solution Department which focuses on providing solutions and security-related products.
- Relocating to Jnah, Beirut.
- Founding of an educational division in EKT’s Electronic department, which focuses mainly on student related products and support.
- Achieving ISO 9001:2008 certification.
- Founding Car Service Department, which focuses on providing car-related products and services.
- Founding Computer Department which focuses on Computer-related products retail and support.
- Founding of Industrial Automation Division which focuses on Industrial-Related products retail and support
- Founding of Repair Center.
- EKT is the largest electronics-related product provider in Lebanon.
